Moulin Rabier is set in a secluded valley in the commune of Montboyer and is 9km from each of the three Charente towns, Aubeterre sur Dronne, Montmoreau and Chalais, all three with supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. Chalais has a lively market every Monday and Aubeterre a smaller but beautifully quaint market on Sundays. Aubeterre is one of the plus beaux villages in France and is an excellent place to enjoy cafe culture and fine dining as well as an essential visit to the incredible 12th century subterranean church of St Jean.

There are two gites at Moulin Rabier which share the large walled outdoor swimming pool, gardens and games barn. The Manor House has six bedrooms and sleeps 12 and the Pigeonnier has three bedrooms and sleeps 6. Each has a private outdoor dining terrace as well as internal dining and living areas equipped with all mod cons including British Satellite tv and cd/dvd players.

Moulin Rabier is the home of Dave and Louise who moved to the Charente in January 2009 to start the transformation of the Manor House and Pigeonnier into spacious, light and beautifully decorated gites for the enjoyment of their guests.
